The recent Apple support doc has shown that there has been a known wifi issue. Apple is going to publically release a software update to address this WiFI connectivity problem that customers have been experiencing. The main probelm associated with this issue is the fact that users are getting weak signals, the system forgetting the user's password, and troubles with releasig DHCP.
What is further more puzzling, it seems that adjusting the brightness of the ipad's screen has proven to have an effect on the apple ipad wifi probelms. Apple still has not given an exact date as to when the update will be issued, but users are definitely needed this patch quick. The main attraction of the apple iPad was the fact that users could carry them around, connecting to various 3g hot spots. With this probelm, users are sometimes not able to connect to the internet, hence rendering this popular tablet PC useless.
